WGA’s new Chief Financial Officer

We are delighted to announce that Vicky Lewington has joined us as Chief Financial Officer, bringing over 20 years of experience in finance and commercial management within the engineering and professional services sectors.  

Vicky, who will be based in our Brisbane office alongside Regional Managers Russell Perry and Baden Harrison, comes with a diverse background in both small and large organisations, ensuring we are in the right hands for the future. 

Throughout her career, Vicky has excelled in financial planning and analysis, forecasting, financial reporting, strategic planning, execution, and risk management. She has a proven track record of driving operational efficiencies, collaborating with specialist partners, and leading high-performing teams. She is renowned for her ability to present complex financial information in a clear and accessible manner to non-financial professionals, making her an effective leader and communicator. 

Passionate about supporting teams to deliver outstanding results, she will continue to develop our finance services to empower our people to deliver exceptional work for our clients and equip our leaders with the insights needed for effective decision-making. 

We also want to express our gratitude to Rick Penfold, who, after many years of dedicated service as CFO, has transitioned to the role of Group Governance Manager. Rick’s legacy is evident in the strong finance team at WGA, and we are grateful for his continued contributions in his new role. 

We are excited about these changes and look forward to the positive impact Vicky and Rick will have in their new roles.
