Based in Newcastle, near WGA’s newly established office, Molloy brings ten years of experience as Non-Executive Director, Chair, CEO and executive, with expertise in the logistics, infrastructure and supply chain industry, resources, engineering and manufacturing.

Before this, Molloy was CEO of HVCCC, a logistics organisation coordinating an extensive supply chain across a complex member-based construct. Earlier roles included executive and management roles at Orica, a global mining services company.

Increasing the Board’s Non-Executive Director representation, Molloy’s appointment supports WGA’s five-year Strategic Plan, providing complementary skills in finance and accounting, risk management, executive management and strategic execution.

Celebrating 40 years in business, WGA was founded in Adelaide in 1982 and has grown to become one of ANZ’s highly sought-after engineering and project management consultancies, employing more than 520 people across Australia and New Zealand.

Experiencing sustainable growth over the last three years, WGA has seen a 21% increase in its workforce and a 29% increase in revenue during the previous financial year, with the growth projection looking to continue.

Susan Forester, AM, Board Chair, comments, “We are excited to welcome Kirsten as WGA’s second Non-Executive Director. Kirsten’s expertise across multiple sectors will bring unrivalled experience and objectivity to the role. Her appointment will increase gender diversity on the Board to 18% and offer a fresh external perspective at a time of macroeconomic volatility and as we embark on our new strategic plan”.

Molloy added, “I am delighted to be joining the WGA Board. WGA’s ambitions, across strategy, culture, people and customers, technical excellence and sustainability, make this a very appealing organisation to join as a Non-Executive Director. It is a complex world to navigate right now, and I look forward to working with the WGA Board and Executive Team on the continued growth and success of the business.”
